Has any consideration been given toward moving the Luau date this year to avoid conflicting with the Ithaca event? I know people would love to play in both. I believe some of the touring pros will be in Ithaca to play and give a clinic that weekend. I'd hate to see the Luau suffer a poor turnout because of this schedule conflict.

Why would the Luau change their date when they have been using that date for over 10 years?
The payout will be better at the Luau, so any touring pros that go to Ithaca will lose out.
disclaimer, I am not the Luau TD and the above comments are just my opinion.

Luau rarely draws many players from central NY anyways, Luau won't lose more than 10 players to this I'd bet.
They picked this weekend because its a Non stop disc golf tour event and this is the only weekend those guys are in the region. It was probably either do it that weekend or not have a big tournament at all.
the luau will not have a better payout than a A tier though, lol.

I noticed the Luau is not listed on the PDGA website. Oversite on their part Im guessing.
